Foundation of Bodegas Barón de Ley From 1985 to 1990

In 1985, a group of widely renowned professionals from the world of fine quality wines began a unique project in the Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja (Rioja appellation): the creation of a winery whose concept was to recreate the image of the great French châteaux of the Médoc, focussed on the production of great wines.
